TERMS OF SERVICE

Boxl Terms of Service Effective Date 03.02.12

Welcome to Boxl Studios ("Boxl," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and video production services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Boxl provides story-driven video production services, including brand films, social media content, and commercial video production. All project scope, deliverables, timelines, and pricing will be outlined in a separate project agreement or proposal.

2. Booking & Payments

  • A deposit is required to secure production dates.

  • Payment terms and schedules will be defined in your project agreement.

  • Final deliverables may be withheld until full payment is received.

  • Late payments may be subject to additional fees.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made in advance.

  • Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable at Boxl’s discretion.

  • Boxl is not responsible for delays caused by weather, location issues, or unforeseen circumstances, but will work in good faith to reschedule.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate project information and timely approvals

  • Secure necessary permissions for locations, talent, and materials

  • Respond to feedback requests in a timely manner

Delays in communication or approvals may impact project timelines.

5. Creative Process & Revisions

Boxl values collaboration and works closely with clients throughout the creative process.

  • The number of revision rounds will be defined in your project agreement

  • Additional revisions may incur extra costs

  • Final creative direction remains with Boxl unless otherwise agreed

6. Intellectual Property

  • Upon full payment, clients receive rights to the final delivered video content as outlined in the project agreement

  • Boxl retains the right to use project work for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes

  • Any third-party assets (music, stock footage, etc.) are subject to their respective licensing terms

7. Timelines & Delivery

Project timelines will be outlined in your agreement and depend on:

  • Project scope

  • Client responsiveness

  • Production scheduling

Boxl will make reasonable efforts to meet deadlines but does not guarantee delivery dates if delays occur outside of our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boxl shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Liability is limited to the total amount paid for the project.

9. Indemnification

Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Boxl from any claims, damages, or legal issues arising from materials or content provided by the client.

10. Website Use

All content on this website is the property of Boxl and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission. You agree not to misuse or interfere with the website.

11. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
